The Monthly E=PW Happy Hour

Fall is here, and it’s time to get together!

Join Equality Prince William for our October Happy Hour at The Roadhouse in Woodbridge. Come relax, grab a drink or a bite to eat, and enjoy an evening with friends, old and new, from across our community.

Whether you’re a longtime EPW member or joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome!

There’s no program, no agenda, and no pressure—just good conversation, good company, and a chance to connect with your LGBTQIA+ community.

Come for a little while or stay for the whole evening. We hope to see you there!

E=PW Adopt-a-Highway Trash Pickup – October 2026

Help Us Keep Prince William Beautiful!

It’s time for our second Adopt-a-Highway cleanup of the year!

Join Equality Prince William as we come together to give back to our community and keep our adopted stretch of highway clean. It’s a great opportunity to get outside, meet fellow EPW members and friends, and make a visible difference right here in Prince William.

Schedule

10:30 AM – Gather in Armetta’s parking lot for a brief safety orientation and to pick up gloves, safety vests, bags, and ties.

10:45 AM – 12:00 PM – Community cleanup along our designated highway segment.

12:00 PM – Return to Armetta’s for lunch and fellowship!

What to Bring

Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activity
Sturdy, closed-toe shoes
A reusable water bottle
A willingness to get a little dirty while doing some good!

EPW will provide the cleanup supplies, including gloves, safety vests, trash bags, and ties.

Lunch & Fellowship

After the cleanup, we’ll return to Armetta’s Restaurant for lunch and some well-earned fellowship with our EPW family and friends.

Please RSVP so we can coordinate cleanup supplies and our lunch plans.

Come lend a hand, get some fresh air, and help make our community a cleaner place!

LGBTQ+ Veterans, Families & Friends in the Northern Virginia Veterans Day Parade

We’re doing it again!

Equality Prince William is proud to participate in the Northern Virginia Veterans Day Parade with our LGBTQ+ Veterans, Families & Friends contingent, and we want YOU to join us!

We’re coming together to honor the brave men, women, and folks who have served our country and celebrate the LGBTQ+ veterans, service members, families, and supporters who are an important part of our community.

Military service is a commitment to something greater than ourselves, and those who serve and sacrifice deserve our respect, recognition, and gratitude—regardless of who they are or whom they love.

Whether you’re an LGBTQ+ veteran, a family member, a friend, or an ally, we invite you to walk with us and show Northern Virginia that Pride and patriotism go hand in hand!

Parade Details

Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Location: Historic Old Town Manassas, Virginia
Parade Start: 11:00 AM
Setup Begins: 8:00 AM
Lineup Deadline: No later than 10:00 AM
Lineup Location: Intersection of Quarry Road & Euclid Avenue
Division & Position: To be announced when available

Additional instructions will be shared as parade details are finalized.

Walk With Us or Ride Along!

We’d love to have you walk alongside our contingent! If walking the parade route is difficult or you’d simply prefer to ride, we will also have limited seating in our Jeep (4 passengers).

Please RSVP in advance and let Dave know whether you plan to walk or ride. Jeep seating is limited, so please confirm your preference early.
